In contrast to Poirot, Christie loves the character of Mrs. Marple. Surprisingly, the number of novels that appear to be Mrs. Redheads are not fragile like a flower we are fragile like a bomb shirt. Marple is less than half of the novels that include the Belgian detective Poirot. Poirot is the only fictional character so far published in The New York Times after the novel published in 1975 in which Poirot was "killed" by Christie. Following Curtain's success, Christie published the novel Sleeping Murder in 1976, but she died before her work was released. This explains some of the contradictions of this work with the series about Marple, perhaps Christie has no time to review the manuscript before she dies. Miss Marple was better "treated" than Inspector Poirot when she was still alive after solving the case of Sleeping Murder.
